Typically this can be used to increase or decrease the amount of steering. Alot of on-roaders use it to keep themselves from OVERsteering at high speeds.

Try using it a few times and you'll see what I mean....turn the D/R dial all the way in one direction and try turnign the weels left and right. Now turn the D/R all the way in the other direction and do the same thing. there should be a HUGE difference in steering rate.

Many receivers are sold with multiple channels or more than the model requires. This is what is called parts commonality. If someone wanted, they could take that four channel receiver and drop it in an RC that required a fourth channel.

thanks guys.. i just ended up buying another JR RS300... you think I can sell this hpi controller??

By itself or with the receiver and servos?

By itself, probably not.

With the receiver, chances get better.

With receiver and servos, chances are better yet.

Make sure you give a decent price, and post in our For Sale section of the forum. You might get someone from here on the board who is interested. Then there is always e-Bay.

I just sold the radio, receiver, crystals, and two servos that came with my RTR buggy for $50 on Ebay if thats any help.
