For $149, save a bit more for an LRP or a Picco. You could buy an 4.6 cheaper on eBay without sending in your engine.
 
Its a decent motor from HPI. I'm runnin it in my savage and its got lots of power and good top end. Have a hard time keepin the front end down!
 
I like the F4.6, it is a reliable, just the right amount of power type engine. Perfect for a basher engine.

thats what i like to hear i could get a different brand mill but i would like to stick with HPI they really took good care of me when i called them:first_place:
 
I had one for awhile and had really good luck with it. I killed it being stupid though. I was climbing huge sawdust piles at a big mill....between massive overheating and loosing an air filter and eating dust...not sure what actually killed it. But when it DID run I have to agree with Scrogg it was a good mill. Granted not an LRP powerhouse...but reliable.
 
If you want another HPI engine i would get a F4.6 for $100 on eBay instead of paying the extra $49 HPI wants.
