this has got me stumped,my reciever batt is fresh, my steering servo is new,180oz digi, so thats covered, but i did take the servo out and placed it in my xl, it works fine. my servo saver is at factory specs.
now, problem is my steering is jerky at best, almost like its binding at some point.
but i be damned if i can locate the problem.its almost got to be in a steering componate, but were do i start.
keep in mind it will turn, but its putting alot of strain on the servo.
LOL ,yes its off the floor on a stand. no load on the wheels:(

Disconnect the servo arm from the servo and move the tires by hand. Then about all you can do is disconnect each turnbuckle to figure out where the binding is.

It may be something as silly as too long of a bolt on the servo arm that is hitting the top of the servo... I did that once! ;)

The steering tie rod pivot ball ends could be upside down. Also there is some binding in a Savage steering rack with the suspension arms all the way down.

hey just a follow up. i did everything i can thank of , and i was at the point of drop kicking it across the room. so i went outside for a breather, mail ran , and i got my new hump pack in for my next project, just 4 kicks or what ever i decided to plug it into the 4.6,well i be damned,if the steering did'nt work perfect.
word for the wise, from a noob, always double check your power source,( hump pack is shot), before you fly off the handle. but hey my steering is complety reworked now. peace
