Tax time fellows! I think I'm dead-set on a 1/16 Slash. Only because I know how tough it will be with the short track width. I have limited hard surfaces out here, but a fairly big yard. A 1/10th scale would be cool, but the 4x4 Slash is a hair out of my price range. I can't think of anything that's going to be tougher and quicker than a mini Slash. Let the suggestions roll. I'm placing an order tomorrow. Thanks as always.

I'm pretty sure that only comes as a roller. I wouldn't think twice about getting it if funds allowed. Well, yeah, I probably would...I'm so damn close to ordering the 1/10 4x4 Slash... This is tough.

1/10 is $379 shipped at RPP. 1/10th's are BAD ASS imo. Fast as hell of course on 3s but with so much control.

I'm pullin' the trigger on the mini. I think I'm just going to stick with nimh's for now. Pick up a series and parallel connector. I have my Trx power pack charger. That should hold me over until I get my other chargers back. Amain has the mini Slash up for $250. That's hard to pass up.

1/16th are cool for sure, i didnt have the slash but the erevo and it was just too small for my liking.

That's what I'm scared of slowgreen!!! I dunno now... Damn 1/10th Slash! That thing talks to me. I have no problem giving advice to others, but I have a helluva time making my own mind up...

Buy the 1/10 through Tower. Join the super savers club first, wait a few days to get the discount codes($60 off a$300 or more order and free shipping) and you have it for about $315.

Went with the 1/16 Slash from A main. Parallel and series connector. Second battery and a cheap dc charger(.2-1.2 amps, plugs into a cig lighter.) This is my first new rig since I bought a Sledge Hammer almost 20 years ago. I don't count the Raminator. Plastic diffs...Thanks for the input fellows!:first_place:
