30% Nitro Fuel, is it OK to use with .28 ci (4.6cc) Engines?

Hi all,

I have a HSP Boomwheel 1/8 Nitro Monster Truck upgraded to a SH .28 engine. And a HPI Savage X 4.6. Does anyone here know if it is OK to use 30% Nitro fuel with them? Is there any precaution I should be taking to avoid damaging the engines while using this fuel, other than the usual precautions? Any help here is greatly appreciated.

To answer that question, yes it will work. You'll have to tune. I won't start the should/should not debate.
I used 33 for a while and hated it. May have been inexperience but, 20 or 25 works for me.

I use 30/10 and 30/8 in a Mach .28, HPI 4.6, Losi 427, LRP.32 and.28. Just got 3 more gallons of 30/10. I use Bones Brew. I do have a temp gun and use it since I dont get much of a smoke trail to go by.

If tuned properly, it's fine. However really you'd use that during races, and less of just general bashing- it's more expensive too.
