hey , does anybody know of a 3 speed tranny for the revo ? or is it only for certain other trucks, just curious.

oh its all good , i will see if anyone else has something to say about it .i know the savage has it , and it would be cool that they do it for the revo, at first i didnt really like it but now I'm getting to like it more and more .maybe i should just sell my revo and buy a savage, hhhmmmmmmmmmm,,,,not a bad idea.

why would you want such a thing? how often are you maxed out in 2nd gear?

second gear is plenty fast enough for my revo... actually, it's now locked into second, for my BL conversion. any faster than that, and i just wouldn't know what to do with it.

The cool thing about the savage 3-speed is that it's all inside the trans case and you retain the use of your slipper clutch. So it's useable on and off road.

The revo 3 speed more than likely isn't. 2cool used to sell one for the t-maxx as well and it replaced the stock slipper assembly entirely.

If you do end up getting one, I'd suggest getting a center diff. Then at least the power has somewhere to go when you jump stuff.

thanks olds, you hit it right on the money.I'm not sure i'd ever get one but it was interesting to find out if they had it for the revo.

can't i answer a question with a question? just voicing my opinion... this is a forum like that. /shrug.

if anything, if you do find out that there is no such beast made, my opinions and comments might help console you.

hey you can answer whatever you want , but I'm not making a thread to start answering everybody elses questions , thats not the purpose
