I just purchased a savage online. The guy claims it has a 3 speed, but it only shifts once. The carb is pretty out of tune. When you pull the plug out of the side of the tranny there is no adjustment screw that I can see. Is there any easy way to tell if it's the 3 speed? Should I tune the carb and see if it gets a 3rd gear or should I take the trans out and see if i can adjust anything.
