Just ordered the 3 speed kit and the servo saver
1. should i expect a big difference in performance?
2. should the servo saver make the steering response better

you will get some more performance from the 3 speed you will notice it in top speed mostly.
not sure about the cam type servo saver

Yes the steering will be greatly improved.Plus it doesn't hit the gearbox like the Ofna steering mod does..

could I get a link to the servo saver. MY wife has a savage and the steering sucks. I want to get a 5 cell hump pack and see if that helps. And if this helps i guess i could get that too. THanks

cam servo saver, high torque servo, and a hump pack would be the ultimate in steering...

I've got the servo saver, which helped, but I'm saving up for the servo and hump pack now...

So, it doesn't hit the diff neck like the OFNA one? Is this proven?

If so, I may buy one myself as I have the old school OFNA mod... so my travel is limited because it hits the diff, not because the wheels won't turn.

Ya, I have the old-school ofna mod one too, I'm going to go see if it is hitting because I'm getting ready to mod my C-Hubs...

I was going to modify my c-hubs, but the saver hits the diff, so messing with the hubs at would be pointless for me. The hubs aren't bottoming out before the saver hits the diff.

Ya, A hump-pack is better than the stock AA's. But you are going to notice the most difference with the cam-type servo saver.

A hump pack is better because it can deliver more current than alkiline AA's. It has to do with the chemical make up of the batteries inside the pack. More current means more speed and power out of your servo's.

2 of the best hop-ups you can get i think :)

wow, that servo saver improves it that much? ill get that instead of a new servo. i can get that later...

Ya man, I've been telling you that for like 2 years now, lol. I didn't have it the first time I brought the savage to michigan, but this year when we went up there I had it installed.
