Well, I got an Ofna 4 shoe clutch kit today, and when I got home and started looking that the parts (sans bag), I noted that the flywheel was not cut for a tapered collet like my Picco 26 has. Matter of fact, it had no taper cut in it at all.

Anyway, I was looking on ERCMS, stormer and Tower for a compatable 3 or 4 shoe clutch kits and found one bu Mugen

I guess my question is, what would be a good 3 or 4 shoe replavemnt clutch kit for the Ofna Picco .26 if the one linked above doesn't work on that engine?

Thanks,
Whitt...

Thats the seup i'm using on my Ofna 8 port and its a sweet setup but i'm not sure if it will work on the Picco or not?

the mugen setup should work on the picco, have seen some running with it. The biggest problem is getting your fingers in one I have had the mugen clutch on back order from tower for about 3 month now

Error, the Mugen should work just fine on the Outlaw. I put it on my RB S7 and it worked just fine.

Thanks fellas. I'll try to get one of the Mugens thru the LHS since I'm gonna have to return the Ofna one. Till then I guess I'll have to limp my 2 shoe stock setup along.

I bought the Fioroni turbo sliding clutch and their glass/teflon shoes. It's still only break-in but its lookin' real good so far.

Wdavidhicks, yes you can put it on the picco but then it won’t fit in the savage anymore because there isn’t room enough for the clutch or spur gear I have tried it

I'm using the Mugen 3 shoe cutch flywheel with a ofna 17th bell. The flywheel was touching the tvp, I shaved the tvp about the same thickness of the flywheel. it works great. my lhs has about ten mugen kits left.

Anyone using the OFNA #10266. It says it is for the .26 Picco? Just wondering cause the fly wheel looks too thick and afraid that the clutch bell with rub against the Spur gear..

ahhh just read 2 post up.. thanks ..

what does TVP stand for??

The OFNA OFNA #10266 clutch WON’T fit on the picco .26 if it’s going to be used with the savage

The only reason the mugen flywheel touches the tvp is because I'm using a 17 tooth bell, you can use a 16 tooth bell with no problems. My lhs did have a 16T bell and I did not want to wait.
