breaker.. i run 60/40, front/rear.. the reason for this.. is better steering.. a more responsive car.. jumps smoother.. with lighter oil.. the car will be really bouncy... but it also depends on the shock pistons.. i am running 2x1.4 hole pistons.. the setup i got is for a smooth flowing track..and works good on rutted tracks as well.. i got this setup from a pro driver as well..

Now Mugen MBX5 will run lighter shocks than the Kyosho.. so it depends on what car you are running i guess..

Most people running the K3 use 60 or 70 weight in the front.

I've got a storm pro with standard storm pro pistons (which at this point I'm not sure what the standard pistons measure out at.)

My car setup seems to work really good with the track I drive at down here, but I'm going to try heavier oil and see what the difference is. I figure, it's an easy and inexpensive change that could make a big difference.

The track is pretty bouncy with lots of small jumps and one straight that's not very long and has some pits that can really bounce the car around. I think a harder oil will make a difference, from what you're saying.

Thanks for the info, it points me in the right direction.

Error. make sure you add the alignment piece at the bottom of the disks so you don't end up locking up your rear drive shaft completely.
