i was out front doing high speed runs and my maxx was working great, all of a sudden the pipe fell off. i stopped the truck rite away and it stalled,i put the pipe back on and tried to restart, bad glowplug, put a new glowplug in and tried to restart,it run for about 5secs and started making a clicking noise then a loud pop and stalled,i tried to restart, bad glowplug,i took the glowplug out and there was pieces of metal in the end of the plug,i turned the engine over with no plug in the hole and pieces of metal started flying outta the hole............could this of happened because of the pipe falling off or was that just a coincidence????

i just tore down the engine and the crank shaft is split in two, very nice......picco time!

Well, you may have lost lubrication long enough to shred the internals. Sounds more like a prolonged lean condition or just plain old bad luck.

ha picco time my .18 did the same thing the brass bushing in the rod started shredding and fired it up on day and well pop the bottom of the rod just let loose so i updated to the 3.3 slight problems with it i keep spinning spur gears between the shoes
