3.3 turn buckle "rod ends"

I broke a right rear turn buckle & rod end. I know thiis should only take a sec to fix , but i wanted to make sure before I break another rod end .
Its traxxas part # 5347 for the tmaxx 3.3 . Rod ends come with "hollow Balls ". How do I get the hollow balls to fit into the plastic peice??? Its a tight fit and looks like i will break the plastic rod end when pushing the hollow ball through .
Any tricks or suggestions when doing this ?
Remember I'm a newbie...."but only for a while" , I'm liking this RC thinggy !

Pair of needle nose pliers works for me..just squeeze and pop they are in. I'm sure someone will chime in with a better way.

I use normal flat pliers... It's hard to get a decent grip on it with needle nose.
