hey so i adjusted my needles a little and now all it seems to do when you WOT the truck is is goes for a split second then it bogs out. i believe thats too rich?

i have a decent amount of blue smoke and i have some unburnt fuel exiting the exhaust like you can see it on the body and tire. but when you WOT it Bogs and like chokes. but doesn't die. but if you slowly accel. it is ok.

ALSO

when i accel it just screams doesn't shift into 2nd gear. and it sounds like the revvs dont like agree with the speed... (revvs really high but doesn't go REALLY fast like it should)

Too Lean

Here are some symptoms of an engine that is running too lean:

1. Dies or "flames out" at full throttle.
2. The glow plug wire or "element" turns white.
3. A drop of water or spit on the engine heat immediately sizzles. Too hot.
4. Dies while just idling.
5. Dies while accelerating from idle. Note this can also be caused by a rich engine.

Too Rich

Here are some symptoms of an engine that is running too rich:

1. A lot of blue smoke from the exhaust pipe.
2. A lot of unburned fuel exiting the exhaust pipe.
3. Idles properly, but bogs down an dies when the throttle is full applied.
4. Never reaches full top speed.
5. Engine temperature is too cold (e.g. below 200 F degrees)

Well from looking at what you have posted it sounds like it is to rich, just make small 1/8 turn adjustments to the right on your hsn to lean it out a little bit at a time. I am not a pro at tuning but this seems like the likely way to fix your problem...

If it's bogging when you hit it from a dead stop, you'll need to lean the LSN. If you're up and running, then hit throttle and it bogs, it's the HSN.

This exact thig happend to me and i almost pulled my hair out trying to fix it so i finnaly set it back to the factory settings which was a little lean so i put it a quarter turn richer and its perfect.... that was my fix i dont no if it will help u....
