Once my 3.3 gets up to a good running temp it'll stall after getting off the throttle, won't idle, and is hard to restart. It starts fine and will idle for the first few minutes. The engine has a ported and polished sleeve, knife edged con rod, shaved shirt, and heavily modded crank but honestly I don't know how much fuel had been through it before.

Signs of low compression? Figured once it's up to temp the sleeve has expanded enough to allow some blow by.

Yep, you more than likely have lost the pinch in the sleeve. You can either get a new sleeve and piston for 50-60 bucks or send your current stuff out to someone to get repinched. I just had an engine do the same and it runs great after repinching.
