Hello I am a nOOb when it comes to nitro rc's. I know my way around real cars and engines though. My problem is when I drive my T Maxx for a couple minutes the throttle seems to get stuck and the truck takes off. I have had this happen in forward and reverse. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I have already tuned the engine back to default settings and it still does this. I plan on visiting my LHS this weekend but thought I would see what the experts on RCNT think. :) Thanks for any help.

Did u check the link to your throttle(in case it gets stuck?) OR maybe servo twitchin cuz or interference, happened to me a long time ago...scared the living crap outta me.

I have checked all the linkage, wires, lines everything that I can think of, but it continues to do it. It does it every time I go to drive it. About 2 minutes in, the truck just takes off and I have to turn the controller off for the truck to stop. Its driving me crazy

Is the pack in the truck full charge before you run it? If u do have a full charge batteries then i would say like ajames942 said, your servo is prob shot.:\

ya you guys got it covered.

Thanks

Man you guys are good :) The battery pack in the truck was fully charged so I went and bought a new servo from my LHS, and now the truck runs perfect, NO correct that, still needs some tuning but no more out of control take offs.
Thanks for your help,
Zack
