ok, just finished the cybermaxx change-over, went out with my "new " truck and started it up good idle(should be it worked 2 weeks ago when I started this project, also the engine is a 3.3 with about 1/2 gal through it) threw it down on the ground and hit the throttle, waaah, stop. start it try to go dies right off idle... hmmmm didn't have this problem before. start it and hold it up off the groung and it goes to 1/2 throttle wheels spinning and dies, wheels just coast down... start it about 20 times changing lsn, hsn, idle, idles fine but dies when you put the gas to it.even with no load. most of the time it croaks right off idle, I also noticed that I had a fine line that looked like lube under the flywheel, that isn't what I think it is I hope. could that be a bearring failing?
I am stumped.

i have no advice on your problem, but i do know that when i run my 3.3 it makes a line of oil under the flywheel also. it runs fine though.

come on phil you are supposed to be my fountian of knowlage lol man I am just stumped. and I just finished the conversion, so I am dieing to run it into somthing

Well I to had that problem and I put a new glow plug in and everything was fine after that... Dumb question but did you let it warm up a bit before you flogged it? mine runs like crap til it gets warm..just a thought

won't run long enough to get warm, can't get it to move on the ground. put in a new GP helped it start but... nada

Air leak is what I would check as well. Tank.. Seal on the cap on the tank, Fuel lines. Then I would go to the Engine.

all right, sealed everything up, now I just have to wait for the rtv to dry. man the cyber-maxx kit is dificult to do maint. with.it must be really protective, can't get to anything lol

Don't forget to check your fuel lines, tank seal and if you still have the problem change the gaskets in the carb. My Savage had this problem and it was the o ring on the HSN that was torn.

I changed out the header to a rcs "better header" I wonder if that could be the problem... it had no problems before I put the cybermaxx kit together and added the header, I just put a new gas(nitro) tank on it and all new fuel lines but I am not seeing the fuel move through there like it used to...

ok, tried everything, engine will start occationaly and idle, but as soon as you even look at the throttle it dies. the only way it stays running at all is leaving the glow-plug ignitor in otherwise it dies immediatly. I am at break in settings I have gone 2 turns either way and had no results. come on guys give me some help here. the really bad thing is my savage is doing the same thing. both were running great untill I had to do things that would make no difference to the tuning of the engine, the savage had a new clutch installed the maxx hac a cybermaxx kit installed.

oh man, it haunts me everywhere. I got rid of it and stilllllllll! (sound of gunshot)

yes I do, the front bearring is leaking, I am thinking that I need a new motor...

If everything else is still good you could change the front bearing
