Hey guys,

I have an old T-maxx 2.5 4910 that I have recently installed a 3.3 motor on. During break in of the motor I shredded the rear diff. I am planing on getting some new BR E-maxx diffs for it since I hear they are a great diff and it will not break the bank. Will these drop right in or do I have to change anything else?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I do plan on building the truck up later on just the funds are not there right now so I am looking for lower price point but still reliable setup for the time being but something I can build off of.

Thanks!

With the stock slider shafts you will need to grind the nub end off the drive shaft yokes slightly to get the yoke to fit down over the shorter input pinion shaft far enough so that the pin screw will line up. Other than that, it is a direct swap with slider shafts.
When/if using CVD's or dogbones and drive cups you will need to swap the BL diff input pinion with the longer 4909 tmaxx input pinion so the bone does not pull out of the cup(s).
