3.3 ez start quit

Hi does anybody on here know how to change the ez start motor on a t maxx 3.3. I just can't figure it out. I'm new to this only been into Rc for about a year and this is the 1st time this has happened to me. Thanks in advance

Here is the exploded view of the motor and ez start system. Shouldnt be too hard, just undo the screws and should come off. What makes you think that you have to replace the ez start?

It just knocks and I can see through the hole on the ez start and there's some copper thing inside I can see just flopping around.

Do I have to take the 3.3 motor off to change it. If not if not how do I get at those screws at the bottom

Yeah, take off the motor, then you can get to all the screws....get used to taking the motor off and putting it back on.

Just remember to put a dab of Loctite on your engine mount screws wen put it back together so they dont come loose and trash your tranny . Its happened to me a couple times of late . But i think its coz the threads are worn .
