3.3 carb

I heard of people putting different carbs on the 3.3 does anyone know what carb that would be thank u

Losi 3.4 is the main carb swap but the best is an RB tm 523 carb I have used a few different but I had to mill them down to fit

here is the stock trx 3.3 carb

here is an RB novarossie carb I milled it's pretty nice but a tight fit in the revo since its taller

i have a O.S. 11K 21982000 on my jato. to is a straight bolt in, metal body. it has a low speed adj, a mid adj, and a high speed adj. iam not sure it was any faster, but it might be.

If you can find the tm523 I would get that, my revo woke up from the dead when I put this carb it , and I can run it pretty much all day long after getting it tuned without it losing its tune!

I have had a look for the tm523 carb & can't find 1 so I think I will just go for the cheaper losi 3.4 carb, if its easier to tune, holds a tune better & gives better performance than the standard 3.3 carb then I will be happy with that. I decided to reset & re-tune my Revo with standard carb, & really, its a pita to get it right & takes a while. Then you have to go & adjust for slight weather changes to get it going properly again, never had that problem when I had my 1/8 nitro buggy, that was good.
Will the hyper .21 race engine carb fit the 3.3?? any1 tried that.
Will get the O.S .21tm engine when I can & drop that in I think.

The 11k is your best bet, but if you're gonna buy one you might as well get a whole OS engine.

Yeah from everything I have read its a good engine. How reliable is it, would be stronger & last longer than the 3.3trx & produce a little more power to I would guess.
What clutch are people using with this engine??
I want to get rid of the optidrive & reverse but was thinking about keeping electric start but maybe just using a glo driver & roto start set up would be better, anyone used this engine with a roto start & what one would suit as it would save some weight & still be easy to use, don't want to go to a pull start or starter box.

Pullstarts aren't bad, I happen to like them.
The OS 21tm is an awesome engine, but you have to be on your tuning game because they are also a little expensive.

I had a pull start on my 1/8 buggy & changed to a starter box after it broke, I just want to make it more reliable & have parts that will last longer, just not a real fan of pull starts.
