i just bought a 3.3. i just want to say it is totally awesome. but it uses batteries like none other. i know they have have to also power the opti drive but I'm only getting a solid hour out of a dry cell battery. is this normal?

sounds about right. Invest in rechargeable pack and decent charger for it.

x2 that is the way it was with mine, it would use up tha battries quick. i put the rechargable pack and i haven't run out of juice again. i just charge it after i run it and do my after-run maintinence. if you get the traxxas charger it will charge the battery in your ez start as well as the hump pack in your truck.
