2s lipos through EVX 2

Think 14.8 volts of lipo power(5000 mah or so) would be more punchy than some high quality nimh's at 16.8 volts. I was thinking of getting some max amps waterproof 2s packs and a lvc to run in my Old E maxx with 3905 guts. Any opinions or sugestions are appreciated.

check out Zippy Battery there priced right and so far its the best lipo for the dollar I've found.. max amps are good but over priced

Maxamps are crap. I like the zippy, and the venom and thunder power, but the maxamps have always given me problems with heat, and swelling.
