I think I'm gonna go with the turbo slider even though it is more expensive, it probably a good investment. What size cb/spur should i get? I think I'm gonna go with the ofna hardend cb. Are there any clearance issues with the 1/8th setup? As i said, i will have a sirio .27 racer, and i think i am gonna have to upgrade the clutch setup. Wont know till christmas though, because thats when I'm getting the engine! lol. Thanks for all the help.

forgot something else. What do i use for a slipper setup on the rc solutions spur? i have the rrp double disc setup, so i need some info. Thanks again
 
I have a T-maxx that has a .21 conversion kit on it. If and When i drop in my new Big Block i will have 2 buy a new clutch bell system (springs the clutch itself and the metal thing w/ the teeth, the clutch bell) y couldnt i use the same 1 from my old maxx engine??? and the engine comes w/ the flywheel right ???

Sorry, 4 the confusion about the CB. I havent touched my RC's in a while....its basketball season.

To my knowledge there shouldn't be any clearence issues as long as you run a conversion kit for the big block engine. Check the rc-solutions website for the spur/cb ratio chart when deciding what sizes to get. I couldn't really give you my opinion because I run twin Outlaws. I run 52T and 18T, but that's with almost 5 1/2 horsepower. Also, witht he rc-solutions spur you will need to use the stock slipper discs. Just swap out the spur and you're done
 
My next question is also like Torque's question above. Can i run the stock clutch setup with the .27? I wont have the new clutch till mid january or so, and i wanna drive my t-maxx around when i get the new engine. Will the stock flywheel and clutch fit on the .27 with shimming and such? I have plenty of shims just in case. Thanks again for the help.
 
I run a Picco .26 max, massive power, and no problems with gears. I've run at least a half gallon through it with the same clutch/bell/spur, no problems. In fact the only time I've taken the engine back out is recently to take the manifold off because I needed to pop out the big dent with ice.
