Well a lot of pro racers are converrting to 23mm cause they are a lot stronger then the 14mm. if you have a big block or just bash they are a great choice
i've had mine for about 6 months now and not a problem one. they are strong as light in your eye. i ran my truck sideways into a shader hitting the metal pole with the rim and it bent a HD dogbone and the shader pole. did nothing to the rim.
heres a pic of my racing set-up. man these wabash 23mm 40 series handle so sweet. i went to the track yesterday and ran a couple tanks and was very impressed with the narrow design of the rims. i painted them metal green so they look different then others. i am a unique kind of person
actually i painted them with a rattle can pactra. the green rims i painted with white primer first then a can of metal green. the cheyennes i cleaned them really well and taped the edge of rim off, and painted center with transparent candy red so the chrome makes the candy look like a watermelon jolly rancher. there isnt one knick in the cheyenne rims and i bash on gravel/dusty/dirt/sand clay like material. they look the same now as they do in that picture only with more dirt on it.
and yes i think everyone has one of those toolboxes.
yeah mon its my rasta color scheme.
heres a pic with the lid on. i love trashed bodies just gives me more reason to thrash it and bash it. the more trashed the body is the more rugged and savage like it makes the truck look.
