Wide open Throttle, .21 cuts off like its not getting enough air or fuel. GS storm car, Runs like Crazy until trigger gets to Wide open and then Boom she shuts off. If you let off really quick when you hear it begin to cut off then it will stay running. I see the small screw under the carb and of course the screw where the fuel line goes into the carb.

Please help on this, I'm new to Nitro

Thank you

turn the high speed needle screw (the one located where the fuel inlet at the carb is) 1/8th of a turn counterclockwise and try it again,if it still cuts out give it another 1/8th of a turn.if it's set properly you should get a stream of white smoke out the exaust while the engine is accelerating too.it sounds like you're probably running too lean on the high side.you may wanna get a flashpoint temp gun to measure your engine temps too, having your settings too lean will overheat your engine, too rich and it won't reach proper running temp.

I agree. I had the same prob w/ my Storm. I was running too lean and it would bog out and possibly die at WOT. I had to richen it a few hours until it would stop. But, only turn it one hour at a time. Test it and then re-adjust. Teat it and re-adjust. Test it and re-adjust. You get the idea.

I have had the same problem. One thing I did find though is on a new storm RTR engine, you need to remove the needles and check the seals on them. My low speed needle seal was trashed, because when they put it together they do it dry.

My problem was the engine would cut out, and then when I got it to warm up good, I had to run it real rich. Then it would just overheat after about 45 seconds. It hit about 320 degrees. So my new seals are on the way.
