Just curious to know how many of you guys kept and still use the stock composite pipe that came on the 21 savage? If not, what did you replace it with?

I replaced mine with my XTM 21 pipe from my 21 maxx conversion that I tore apart. It seems to give much better low end of the engine I have in my savage and it's tons quieter. I'm not old, but I hate noisy stuff... and that SOB was loud!

I was running an upgraded pipe on the Savage. Prior to selling it to you. The pipe I ran was a Tuned one piece made by RD Logics. I wrote up a review on the pipe and that can be found in the reviews section of the site. The stocker is fine for running with the stock .21 engine, but anything more powerful deserves a better pipe.

Of note, I just clicked this thread and guess what random gallery images popped up.

Your view of the Savage I sold you...

And a fairly similar shot from my kitchen when I owned the truck...

Pretty freaky...

well I still have my stock pipe from my .25 and it's sitting in a box with a bunch of other spare parts from a swap to a THS pipe.

My stock pipe cracked after about 8 or 10 tanks. When I took it off the end was melted. Right where it goes into the silicon coupler. The engine had never been over 210-220.

Went with the Hot Bodies pipe. Only because it was one listed on Dr. Doug's. Don't know how it compares with the other pipes. Planes were always my thing. Haven't found anyone to bash with yet. :depress:

What pipe came on the .25? The ribbed HPI pipe or the composite?

Black plastic type came with my .25 so I went for a better one. I am happy with the THS pipe, sounds great and good response from it.

i had my stock .21 exaust but changed it to the black hotbodies tuned aluminum one. i like that much better and i think its a little quieter.

I really want to try a steel phantom factory pipe. I like my HPI ribbed pipe I have now.
