Right now I have a Novarossi BS21SB in my MBX-5, but I will be getting the MSR conversion in the next few weeks (or months $$$). The engine works awesome in my mbx-5 with tons of power and speed, but I'm not sure.... Will it be sufficient in the power and speed category for a truggy? Or, will it be under powered with the .21? I'm really spending to the rock bottom of my money for this conversion. My next upgrade will be a Airtronics 358 for my steering and put my Futaba S9350 in the throttle, it WILL be kickass :D

It may be a BIT underpowered, but not by a whole lot. Remember its 95% driver.............

Ace has the conversion kit for about $130....

Ya I know, thats the one I'm planning on getting. Thanks for the info.... BUT, my F****** engine is being *** and its killing glow plugs SO FAST and it doesn't run at all without the ignitor in... WTF?!?!?!? that NEVER happened before.

Take it apart and clean it,top to bottom, check for leak's and all that fun stuff, that's what i had to do.

.21 Truggy

If you look at all Jammin's CRT reference photos on the Jammin' Website, you'll notice that the X1-CRT always has the Picco .21 engine fitted.
I ran mt CRT for the first with an RBS7-11 .21 and I was very impressed with the performance, bearining in mind the X1-CRT is a featherweight truggy
(I've fitted an RB TM928 into it now.. and.. whooa! But that's another story)
I reckon your MBX-5 should also be a lightweight once converted to a truggy, so the .21 should do it.

As for your glowplugs dying, do as Got Nitro advises, give that engine a good cleaning and make sure the carb and air filter manifold re sealing correctly.
Another thing is fuel, is your fuel fresh? Old fuel can be an absoloute curse and cause countless problems

Good advice on the fuel Mondo,as I too have had run-ins with old fuel.It cause headaches galore!

Brand Spankin new fuel. I just got done cleaning the engine TOP TO BOTTOM, checked for o-ring seals, cleaned all the sitting fuel out, put new oil in, and everything possible. If this doesn't fix it, I don't know what will. Ill run it today once I get some new plugs. I'm not liking the MC-59's so far.

Now, if only I could sell the stuff i have, i could get the conversion ;)

Well, found a crack in my crankcase (it was hiding) and I decided that was the problem. So I just Bought a Rex P5 with a Mugen head to compensate :D I tested it out today in my buggy and its such a beast! Even better than my BS-21!
