2-speed one way?

Hey, while working on my t-maxx's tranny last night replacing the 2-speed gears i ran into a problem. The "snap ring" that holds the one-way bearing in the bigger gear is a pain in the butt to get off, let alone get back on. Any suggestions? I dont want to mess up my brand new gears!

Is it Part number 4987 ? If it is SnapRing Pliers works great on removal and install. Hope this helps.

They should do the trick. I got lucky. An old toolkit I had from my job had a set of nice compact cheapy's that I've been using for about 7 years.

Yeah, i found some snap ring pliers in my dad's tool box yesterday! Got it done in the first try!!! I was worried i would never get that damn thing on!!
