Yo, I went to my LHS and i got a new airbrush. its an iwata, i thinks its part of the revolution line. I'm a noob when it comes to any-kind of painting, what kind of paint should i use to practice with? Water-based?

Also i have a question about Maxx Lights. While i was getting my airbrush i saw an set of maxx lights, they look super cool, but the connectors were the kind you'ed plug into a reciver. now i run an electric and i have a reciver with a channel 1,2 and a BATT. and my esc wont work if its not pluged into the the BATT "opening". so my question is, Are the maxx lights only for nitro/gas cars? Or do they make an electric car version?

thanks

On the airbrush, yes, you would want to start off w/ the water-based stuff. The Parma Fascolor line is real good. I use it for all of my painting.

Not sure on the lights tho... :ponder:

for the lights if you really want you could either splice a battery holder to the wires...just be sure what voltage range the lights can handle...I would assume they can operate on either 4.8 or 6 vdc so you shouldn't have any issues there...OR you can throw in a 3 channel Rx and use the unused channel's +/- pins and just plug the lights in there......
