2.5r and 2.5 motors.

Is there a big diff between the 2.5 and the 2.5r, I know that the 2.5r is a racing motor but what specs are diff? thanks

As far as I know, the cooling head is the only difference, and even that is just blue colored.

That is all that I have noticed, but I just bought a t-maxx and it is coming with both a 2.5r and a 2.5 motor with it.

Porting in the sleeve and a machined aluminum head are the main differences.
