Gonna drop a 3.3 in my 2.5 t maxx, just wondering if there is any key factors I need to know about?

You may encounter future drive line issues. I had been running my 3.3 in a 2.5 maxx for at least a gallon before I snapped a canter drive shaft. You may also want to pick up a FOC kit.

First you need to set up a slide carb linkage next replace all of the drive shafts and start thinking about the transmission, if you have the black trans with reverse you will need to upgrade it or remove the reverse gears and do the FOC. Be ready to spend some money of your planning on doing it right.

As said b4 the Foc kit is a great idea. And as far as the driveshafts, we had a ton of trouble until the slipper was tuned just right. We r now a gallon in and driveshafts look great.nMaybe a better air filter also.
