thanks, ya right after i posted this i took the uh sorry for the newby answer but the orange thing above the engine..... :/ took it off and looked around and realised the engine says 2.5 on the side :(

Any idea what different bodies i can get for this, all i can find is the stock ones? and I'm not sure if i trust ebay saying there bodies are intchangable with 2.5 and 3.3

Well for reference you can look for bodies for a 4910 model or a 4907 model. Either will fit. Just may have to drill new post holes for 4907 version stock bodies because of the 1 inch wheelbase difference. After market proline bodies you will want the 2.5 revo or tmaxx applications.

revo 2.5 or 2.5r bodies? is there a difference?

Well stock traxxas painted bodys for the revo and tmaxx are different due to the positions of engines and fuel tanks. But they are the same in size and fit. Proline bodies have to be trimmed out and painted and are made of a thicker material being more durable. So it depends on if you buy a traxxas replacement or a proline or hpi body. Also check out jc concepts bodies too. I recommend going with a proline body for traxxas 2.5 rigs. And paint it however you wish.
