First of all, the motor was running fine when I put it up.

Took the sucker out today in front of my friends and everything went bass ackwards!!!!

It will start right up. But as soon as I give a little gas, it dies. I've checked fuel lines for holes. Richened, leaned, and returned back to stock.

I have been able to get it to run by just bumping the throttle and finally working up to WOT.

Any suggestions?

Take your time. The same thing happened to me I just tried and tried and got it to work only go one needle at a time. Clean out your air filter and put some oil in it.

yes. if it has been sitting for a little while u need to get it running again and everything tuned right again. trust me it has happened many times before to me. just give it a little time and it will come back to life.

Just try to keep it running for the first tank. As it heats up it should run better. If it needs a bit of tuning after it heats up, do so. If you use after run oil it takes a few minutes for the engine to burn it all out. If you didn't run the tank dry after your last run, you may be trying to burn some old fuel.

You may also want to check your plug.

Do you use after run oil? If so it's not uncommon for it to seemingly take forever to burn out all of your after run oil but in reality it's only like 2 minutes.

i have found that when i let my truck sit for more than about 5-8 days without running it, it takes a while to get back going again. the after run oil as FastEddy said takes a little while to burn out.

Like as in Kennewick, Washington? If so, I used to hit the Tri Cities area when I lived in Washington 15 years ago.

Maxx, I'm in the Seattle area and it's cookin' over here. You gotta be fryin' in Tri-Cities.

El P? I was visiting family back east just a week and a half ago. One of my cousins lives in Ashburn, VA. (Right down the street from AO-helL headquarters.) You anywhere around there?

oops... trying not be a thread hijacker...
