2.5 clutch problem?

I think the clutch is shot in my truck. If under a load it won't spin the tires over. The engine revs good but the truck wont move. The engine runs great but seems a little slow off the line once it is moving runs pretty fast! Could the clutch be trashed? Would a broken spring case this?

My spring broke on my clutch and the tires spun all alone. So most likely, your springs broke. Shoes. could be worn out too.

try to tighten up your slipper clutch

Well I took it all apart getting pretty good at that seems to always be broke! Anyway clutch on the motor is fried! Oh well see if I can get one Monday!
