i have been trying to find rims for my old infero DX. it has 19mm hex. is there a way to convert this? or where can i buy rims for it?

Duratrash, has 19mm wheels. Check the Axis buggy maybe??? Their tires may be all that fit them though?

Depending on the size of the axles and the way the hexes are mounted maybe you could find some way to convert them to 17mm?

Tower was the only one I ever knew that sold the old 19mm inferno parts. I was goign to buy one off a guy at my LHS a few years back but since Towerhobbies was the ONLY place I could find parts I decided not to.

You may have to check into upgrading to a new set of hubs/axles off a newer 7.5.

If you can find the Duratrax rims that have the 19mm hexs, 1/8 tires will fit them. I have used the rims with Proline tires on my Inferno for years.

I've looked every where for 19mm hex rims. i can't seem to find them anywhere. post a site plz :)

Sorry, I last bought them years ago from Tower Hobbies. I stocked up on them so am able to still break out the vintage Burns and run it once in a while.
Don't know if Tower still carries them.
I see them on E-Bay once in a while. Just do a search for Burns every week and you will find them eventually. They usually come from Australia or England though.

Actually I bought a bunch of them from Ace Hobbies, look under Clearance, they have 4 wheels for $10. Ofna used to make an adaptor, ace still has the pic on their site but everytime I try and order, they call back and say its not in stock.

See below for links:

Let me know if you can get the adaptors, I have been trying for a while too.
