800 paint and body work?? 300 uppoulstry? Where you getting this done for that cheap? Most paint I've ever seen (Even the cheap stuff) you couldnt even get all the paint and supllies for $800 let alone the body work too. And thats REALLY cheap for uppoulstry. I'm not sure what your getting done, but a set of bucket seats re done in my old 49' I had was like $550. And the one seat didnt even need the whole thing done.

As far as speakers in the front/dash Id go with 4x6 plates (Infinity) and 6" in the doors.

i work at a salvage/bodyshop and my friends dad built the uplostry shop for the guys that do it so they let me off easy.

thats also what i was thinking for my speakers infinty or fosgate.

you can stuff the 6x9 and the 12" in one box w/ sections and put some nice little cones on the dash...the older holes should fit 2 or 3 in each if you have the 2 speakers on the ends......I had a 79 ford and I ended up cutting the hell out of that thing for speakers.....and then slammed an 8 track player in it...:D.....my pop still listens to his 8 tracks and when I was in school I used to borrow his stuff alot for the truck.....
