Hopefully mine will be too. I hella want to tub mine to put in some fat ass slicks, but i want handling, so i prolly wont do that.

That would be sweet, as long as you had the motor to turn them big ass things, I seen a 69 Nova like that the other day it was BAD!! I drove by it and it rattled the windows in my car> My car has huge rear wheel wells and I can squeeze 12 and 1/2 inch wide tires with 10 inch wide rims under it. I have to use 2 jacks to get the ones it has now just to get them under it one to lift the wheel off the ground and one to lift the body up high enough to get the tires up and under the fender well its worth it though with the stock tires on in I could actually put my head up between the tire and the body LOL. I think I will lower my car replace all of the bushings with polyurathane bushings and new updated control arms and it should handle good for a 2 ton car hehe

JESSE G,

Thats a nice old ride, there is nothing like taking a classic and bringing it back to life. Back in the day I had a 66 vette that I restored from the ground up. It was a 2 year project and worth every hour of it. I sold it some years back and still miss it to this day. Here is a pic of her.

No I haven't had another classic since the vette. Other things became more important like buying a house raising the kids, you know life stuff. I hope to restore another one one of these days. I love the old vettes but they are getting harder and harder to find for a decent price to restore.

I agree with you on the 59 vette sweet looking car you have to love that big tooth grille.

I know what you mean I have 4 small kids thats why my 59 impala is just sitting in the Drive way waiting for me to get it running :) some day!!!!

ya just do what you can when you can and one day she will be all finished. It is going to be a nice ride one day, I love that body style.

Thanks I do to its a very rare car around this area you every once in a while see a 4 door or wagons but particaly never see a 2 Dr ht. I have had many many offers on it but I wont sell it for anything. Is been in the family since 1962 and someday I will pass it on to my oldest son. He is 6 and loves the car as much as I do its funny he tells his friends dont play near my daddy inpala lol.
