I've got her tore down should I put in the 18t clutch bell while I'm there I have the stock 15 in now ?:cheeky:

Ummm really depends on what you are trying to acheive here. You are going to have some mad high speed runs though.

I've pretty much understand that the 18T Bell is wicked fast. I have a 20t Bell that I need to get some high speed runs in with. Can't wait to try it.

yea, the 18/52 combo dosent work, i tried it last night and couldnt get it to fit without it binding.

Guys I had the 18t CB on my SS with the 52t SG,Error mentioned this in another thread,I dont know how I did it,but I did?I wasn't pleased with the performance,it makes the engine run alittle warmer and no hole shot and it would bogg really bad when driving in grass or sand.So I put the 15t CB back on.

I have no idea how you did it, but I'm not gonna call BS (strangerr things have happened). As for the 18/52 sucking as far as hole shots and power, I think alot has to do with the gear ratio between the crank and the tranny input. I was going to run a 17/49, but due to a number of factors, I had to use a Mugen flywheel from a buggy. Unfortunately, the FW has a bigger diameter on it than the 4 shoe I was going to use, and when I put the 17t CB on, the FW rubs the TVP. So I had to drop back to a 15t CB. I used to run a 16/52 ratio on my Picco 26, but now am running a 15/49. The ratio is almost the same, but the new ratio is crazy as far as wheelies and torque. Before, I had to really lean it up to get the same results. It's still as fast as before, but the on demand power has gone up consierably. If I can get another FW nut, I'll probably put the 4 shoe FW on and run 17/49.

I was running an 18/49 with a Wasp 26 (pretty darn fast) but blew the SG out. So that is when i attempted to go to the 18/52, (52 is my spare) didnt fit. The only combo i had left was the 15/52 and that is way too much low end, though it would be fun for a bit. I am going to try the get both a new SG and CB and go with the 17/49 combo that Error was talking about. I think that it will be a good balance of accel and top end. BTW i love my wasp, so much power.

I'm currently running a 15t CB with the 52t SG and the stock ss FW for a 2 shoe clutch all stock suspension with 40's and BIG JOEs.The S-25 is a great performing mill,I have it dialed in pretty good and am actually impressed with the power in such a heavy truck. But it wont wheelie for poop?Is it the clutch, big wheels, suspension? My brothers T-MAXX 2.5 gets me outa the whole(about 5ft)and then I smoke his ass for 50ft,Then he passes me like I'm sitting still. This happens in grass and dirt,on asphalt he just smokes me?His has nowhere near as much grunt in sand, mud or tall grass though he is running stock gears with stock tires.
