hey guys iv got a .18 engine, i think there is something wrong with it.
every time i accelerate the thing, and i let go of the throttle it will just go faster and faster and wont stop unless i hit the brakes. when the car is not started and i hit the throttle the servo will bring it forward as i let go of the throttle is will bring it back, but its weird and it will still go full throttle while its not being pressed.

Does anyone know whats wrong with it? or had the same problem before?

Captain obvious wants to know if you checked your throttle trim on your controller.

the throttle trim is set to the middle, low needle is to be set at?

With the engine off and the electronics on, when you go from "neutral" to brake with the transmitter, does the carb slide/rotor (didn't specify, so I don't know what you have) move?

When at "neutral", the throttle linkage should be pushing the throttle on the carb to the point that it can move no further. When you apply brakes, there should be a spring/slide system in the linkage that allows the servo to move further beyond how far the carb will move.

Ignore that second part, unless you get my meaning, but you should be able to answer the first part.

Then you need to adjust your linkage so that when your throttle is at neutral, it's pushing in on the carb enough so that when you apply brake, the carb slide doesn't move. The carb slide should only move when you apply throttle from neutral.
