Ok so I'm new to this forum. i got an origional T Maxx in 2002. its been sitting in storage since about 2005 and I'm breaking it out. lol I'm wanting to do the 3.3 race engine upgrade and was wondering if anyone has done it. and if you can tell me how hard it is. I'm assuming its easy as long as you have the conversion kit from traxxas. but just want a heads up. any info is greatly appreciated. also can i yuse the same header and exhaust form the .15 on the 3.3?

thanks again

i did it you can see the threads i started. in my opinon know after doing it keep it a stock .15 , it is cheaper to just buy a new 3.3 maxx on ebay for what 369.99. people told me to do it but me myself money was not an object so i did it and it took this to make it a complete 3.3 not one part is from my original truck but it was fun building it!
All 4908
3.3 frame and braces
gray bulks
3.3 FOC transmission
3.3 RPM arms
3.3 revo spec axels
3.3 axel carriers
3.3 turnbuckels
3.3 maxx diffs
3.3 center drive shafts or halfshafts another name.
and once i did all that i did all gray grey pieces on the truck a new 3.3 4908 body

know really i wish i had the original .15 just to really look at ! miss the little guys. keep it. and buy a 3.3 maxx.

how rediculous? i may be interested in selling or trading to upgrade lol

I'm just hoping that ill be able to get it running as good as it was new.

Last month, I took my .15 out of the garage, ripped out the motor, took it to my LHS and swapped it out for the 3.3

I will never put down the RC again.
