Alright, I'm dusting off my old maxx - found the front lower A-Arm is broken, do I need an original or should I go with a wide arm kit? Will 2.5 arms work? Will drive shafts stretch with longer arms or do I need new shafts as well?

Help help help!

You will need to get new driveshafts if you go with the wide arms, or 2.5 arms, which are wider than the original maxx. Or you could just pick up some rpm original width arms, it all depends on how much you want to spend.

that's what I needed to know - as this is a backup truck it'll do fine with stock replacements.

RPMs better than the TRaxxas parts?

RPM arms are far superior to the stock Traxxas arms.

I still have a gen 1 T-Maxx, that even though it has waaaay to much money in hop ups, still has the stock width arms. I switched them to RPM arms years ago and have never broke one. I did however use the rpm stablemaxx width rims though for a bit more stability.

new shafts ,i used the revo shafts they work great also have to change the carb linkage for a 2.5 or 3.3. i also used the 3.3 center shafts if you keep the .15 they will look like twizzlers

as the Revo is the main truck I run I think I'll save some $$ and just pick up a set of the RPM stock width arms - unless someone has some longer shafts they want to make me a deal on?

Gears... I'm putting my old A-arms, 3 axle shafts, and 1 diff in the box with your tires... You said the Pro .15 short arms right... well who cares... I'm unloading my stuff that I will never use BTW they are dirty... Have fun

If anyone has any doubts...... Zink is the MAN!

Thanks Zink
