I'm preparing my old E Maxx for winter bashing duties, and feel it needs a bit more power. At the moment, it has a pair of tired 21t 550's(missing the outer ring) in it and 4200 6 cell Tenergy packs power it. I was thinking of replacing the 21t's with some 12t's. I'm a little worried about such a big step up in current draw though. Has anybody ran 12t titians in their Maxx? I have the EVX2 esc, and plan on picking up some 7 cell 4200's. My main concern is having to gear it so low that any extra performance from the increased rpm's from the hotter motors would be lost. Any input is appreciated as always.

Found a short video on youtube with a maxx running these engines. It ripped pretty good. Clocked it at 36 even. Not bad for brushed and 14.4 volts. I'm going for it, with the 7 cells. Now I need a set of paddles and I'm set...:)
