u are starting to out pace me - as i personally do not like that engine, nor do i own one. i can give u helpful hints from my general engine knowledge - but if they dont work, u may have to ask someone who is more familiar with that particular engine.

Do you have anyone that also has a nitro car around u?

Yeah my brother has the same kit but has the ae mill in it. He has his own problems. I will check with others to see if they can help me out if someone does have any engine like mine. Thanks NA

thats okay - u can still use his engine - i am familiar with the AE .12

Do you know if the AE carb will fit on your SS mill?

never checked but his carb doesn't have the LSN does it? Mine does!

yes it does - the AE.12 is a very good engine - will give your mill a run for its money when properly tuned.

I hvae no info on this engine so tuning it is new to me. Do you have a link on how to tune this engine?

with minor variations - all engines get tuned the same way. even factory needle settings are about 80% the same. 8 out of 10 engines will have factory break in settings at flush with the carb for LSN, and 2.5 - 3 turns out for the HSN.

I just wanted you to try to switch the carbs, as maybe there is something wrong with yours on the SS, such as a major air leak, or a bent needle.

well On the SS the factory setting for the lsn says 3 1/2 turns out..maybe I should try the 2 1/2 turns out

so 2.5 for the HSN and 3 for the lsn?

ur killing kittens bro - read the original post over. most lsn's are flush with the carb, and most hsn's are 2.5 - 3 turns out, both for break in proceedures. these settings are not set in stone, just a general guide and do not apply to all engines. my OPS mill for example uses 7.5 turns out for the LSN, and 1 turn out for the HSN, which is quite odd.

sorry about the kittens will read again.

Allright read it and MY CAR IS RUNNING AGAIN:w00t: :w00t: It is fast but thing pulls to the left hard when you get to the top of the first gear.It gets squirly. I am sorry but the stock shoes and wheels don't help! But that can be another thread...

1st - the stock tires SUCK! get some nice TRC foams, or at least some medial pro's.

2nd - the reason its pulling to the left is due to "tweak" if u would have bout the XXXmain guide like i told u, u would already know this, heheh.

tighten the front left shock down about 1.5mm, soften the front right shock about .5mm and that should solve the problem. if it still pulls, tighten the rear right shock about .5mm and lossen the rear left shock about .2mm

what u are doing is transferring the weight balance of the car away from the wheels that are getting too much traction.

oooooohhhhhhhhh:clap:    we're not worthy we're not worthy!!Thanks NA

Just for your info the reason the engine wasn't starting was because the glow plug shim was incorrect and was causing an air leak!!!DOH!!! but replaced it and my car is screaming!!
