Hey nitro by chance do you know the size of that clutch nut? I am going to buy a driver today and I am at work..noway of checking out the manual.

a nut driver WILL NOT be able to tighten it sufficiantly - u need to use a socket wrench. am not sure of the socket size, but i wanna say 11mm

i will check tonight and let u know for sure.

Do you think it might be a 3/8 socket? I will check as well. I guess I won't be buying that driver..thanks nitroaddict:cheers:

no prb man. i tried to secure it with a driver before - and it will spin off.

whew I guess I will have to wait on breaking it in or I will be breaking it period!! THanks again Mitroaddict. I will post up anymore if need more help. Look out for my new lid in my gallery!!

Ok I just realized ..How do you prime the tank since there is no primer on the tank? I used to cover the stinger and pull the cord to bring some gas up the line and into the carb. but mine is now a non pull start and no primer. That was how I did it on my rtr3!!!

if u are using a starter box - then u dont need to prime it. it turns the engine over so fast that the fuel gets sucked into the carb as fast as if u primed it.

really then do I need to open up the high speed needle ?

that is what the LHS suggested? What should I do? There isn't fuel being brought to the carb!!

well dont mess with the HSN! if u arnt getting fuel through the carb, then u can lightly cover the exhaust stinger, and that will help. u can also move your throttle trim switch open a bit to help.

WIll that help bring the fuel throught the line? Everytime i try I see no fuel! I tried my brothers idea..putting a little fuel in the carb..and it started for a sec and then died . ever since my luck hasn't changed. The flywheel is hard as hell to spin. You know how I have the 3 shoe set up? Well should put in the 2 shoe for now?

the clutch wont have any bearing on what u are describing. pull the fuel tubing off that goes from the tank to the carb, and blow through it. can u feel air going through? sounds to me that the line is either clogged, or melted. replace the fuel line, and try again.

tring it right now.... brb:violin:

Ok did that end even into the carb and there is no resistance! Now what?

I found out what the hell was wrong!!! I was flooding it each time!!! I guess when I start it there is so much fuel being rushed to the carb it never gets a chance! I don't know how to remedy this .Everytime I have to start I have to pull the plug, the fuel line and air filter then let it sit on the wheel spinning to expel the gas. So Riddle me this riddle me that what will make my car sart right off the bat!!!

it sounds to me that there is fuel already in the carb/combustion chamber, so that when u put it on the starter box, more fuel goes in and floods it, is this correct? if so then u have two options. first - eliminate the cause for fuel to be in the carb after u stop running. how are you shutting the engine off when u are done driving??? next - how far is the carb open when u are starting the car? at idle it shouldnt be open more that 1mm. Check these things and get back with me

There can't be any gas in the car since I can barely keep it started. Whenever I do stop the car I pich off the feul line. I learned that any thing else is harmful. I expel the gas by removing the glo plug and air filter. Watch out for spewing gas in the eye! Am I missing something?

then just sit that puppy down on the box and hold it on there till it fires up. once it is running - give it a lil gas to clear it out.
