Make sure your gear mesh is good, that nothing feels like it is binding or dragging. and just take your time breaking it in, this is about the most important thing you can do for a long lasting good performing mill. Good luck with it.

nope what kind shoud I get? I have a motor saver but the damn thing ( the elbow ) won't fit around the carb. The Idle screw is right next to the outlet of the carb. any advice on that? Thanks NcNitro

I use the Dynamite fuel filter These have worked great for me.

I am assuming I have to buy more fuel line since I am going to put this between the gas tank and the carb right? Is there any loss in any power?:ahh:

Actually all you need to do is cut the fuel line midway from the tank to the carb and just install it. So you won't need to buy more fuel lines.

Personally on my savage, I use a generic filter that's see thru so you can see if there's anything in it. I'd imagine NC's filter is much better though.

Hey nitroaddict, I really do appreciate you wanting to help me. Trust me I will probably need help tuning my ntc3. Did you know that I am using a HPI 12RSS mill with a 3 shoe set up? Do you know how i can get a motor saver to fit onto it? Mine won't fit do toe the carb outlet being so close to the idle screw!

have u tried just dremmeling off a lil notch in the boot, to make room for the ISS? i dont use that engine, so i am not sure how it is set up - but i do understand what your problem is.

I was thinking of doing that but will that hurt the performance of the maotr save and the engine?

not unless u screw it up, lol. again - i am not familiar with your engine, so this is just a suggestion and i cannot promise anything without seeing pics. but if it almost fits, then just remove that small section to allow it to fit. just make sure that it still seals fully around the carb opening.

I will give it a shot. if I do mess it up do you know how much one can cost? Or should I just buy a cheapie elbow and try it out?

i just checked your profile - ur an adult - this will be very simple for you, just pay attention. i dont see how u could screw up, but if u do, an elbow is like 3.00 - not exactly a piggy bank breaker.

Do you know how to maintain the motor saver? these suckers are like 20 bucks.

not 100% sure - as i use a upgraded version that has a removable element that i just through in the dishwasher.

u should ask fasteddy, NCnitro, or Nitro Dave - they all use the one u have.
