.12 heat range

hey i was turning my old .12 duratrax max St and the engine wasn't giving me any performance till i brok the 300 mark like 320 degrees so i richend it up after that cause its way high, so if anyone could tell me the safe heat range it would help thanks

General safe temp should be around 250-270 for a .12 size mill.

arg, how am i to get any power out of this engine

i put my .12 OS cv-x at 280 F and never give me any problem.
