Okay i have a Buggy body I am getting ready to paint. It will be my racing body and I want it to look good. first off I dont have a airbrush and I dont want to pay someone $50 to paint it. Even if it is a great PJ.

I am planning on painting it Blue, But I want it to Like this Dodge Viper Blue. Very Vivid. I will be useing Pectra rattle cans, and I will practice to see what works well, But what would I do to get that, is it anything special, back it with White, black, silver. I only have the $ for 2 cans of paint, 1 being the blue, the other has to be black or white, I have silver. And do you guys think the white strips look tacky.

Thanks
Hey answer the damn Q and stop  on the car, lol!

This is the closest I have seen in a rattle can, it's parma bright blue....I think. I vote for no stripes.

I vote no stripes as well. Also Id back it with the silver.

Descention is chic these days. So I say there's NEVER anything wrong with white stripes. If that's your plan, mask off the stripes. Paint the blue. Unmask the stripes and shoot the whole thing with white. That will paint the stripes and seal the blue all at the same time. And backing the blue with the white will brighten it.

Pactra Metallic Blue and Pactra Sprint White are the colors you need. On a buggy body? hmmm, i think stripes might be good if you dont get any bleeds and keep your lines straight.
