1/8 Late Model

Goin 1/8 late model racin. Rules are engine has to be a .21 or a RTR .28. What would be a good engine to run? Trying to keep the cost under $200.

onroad or off?

if off the Team Losi Mach 427 is quite the strong motor for 150.00. good powerhouse that still gets good rpms.

Offroad, dirt oval.

well for dirt oval, you may want more rpm over torque, as typically corner speeds are still really good if you can hang the ass out and hold it.

i would maybe look into a Jammin/Picco, or the OS Vspecs or VBs, they are all over 200.00 motors, but turn some very impressive Rs while still retaining relatively good torque, and strong running/lasting motors, that are easy to tune, and will hold it well.
