1/5 scale car prices

I went to my lhs and they were having a raffle. it was for a 1/5 scale car!!!..huge!!!!!.but they say its worth $3,000. is that true its $10 a ticket not bad. got 2. just want to see if there that high in price. thinking of buying one if i dont win. :shrug:

Victory Speed is a huge supplier of anything large. And yes, they start aroudn $1,000, and go up to $3,000.

XTM makes a buggy but its a 1/6 scale, for $800 thats preatty cool lookin. Duratrax also makes one now to called the FireHammer thats 1/5th scale for $899.

Yes, there are about 4 knock-offs of the FG Marder buggy now. Go with the original if you can afford it.

I've been shopping these things.
For a very high end, race quality 1/6 scale buggy, you'll be up around $2000.00.
FG is the company, and Leopard is the buggy.
Cost about $1500.00 out of the box, but after upgrades, $2000.
I decided not to get it.
