I was jumpin ramps at walmart at night it startde to rain and the ramp was at the curb I punched it before the ramp spun tires on the ramp came off and hit the curb

southern maryland - like as far south as you can go..take a look on a map and when you see something that looks like your family jewels bag ;) - i'm at the bottom...if you are from Philly it is like 4 hours to me from you :(

what kind of run times approx should i be getting with 2 NiMH 1600MaH batteries in series????

I think something is wrong with my Merv

it doesn't seem to be going as fast as it used to, its just over a week old and i have been using NiMh in series and i love it plenty of power and what not(had to re glue 3 of my tires cuz they ripped off the bead) so lots of power still but it just doesn't seem to be going as fast, maybe i'm just used to it, i dunno, but in all seriousness how long does a brushless motor last I really don't think my motor is bad already but i'm just trying to figure out every possible issue it could be before i start putting a bunch of cash to it

Probably the batteries honestly...the revo beats on the NimH packs bad..and if you try to charge them quick it can eat them up real fast..after only a few runs i was seeing my packs down to like 6.4 volts...not good - had to use my new charger/cycler to bring them back...plus with 2 packs in series you can actually hurt one of the packs if it is brought down to minimum charge more than another...this is one of the reason i went to LiPo - and got a good charger with a balance so i can see the individual cell voltage..so i know the health of my packs...really you need to cycle charge and discharge the packs on a good charger/cycler and once pack up to peak it will be faster again....that would be my bet...

the brushless motors if treated right should last for a very long time..i have 3 extra heatsinks on my truck to get rid of heat..heat is the worst enemy of a brushless motor and if you run it in series for a long time you could kill it..cut some holes in your windshiled and the back slope of the body to get air through the truck if nothing else..was the 1st mod i did...heat trapped in the body can kill everything...

aight cool man. . .i appreciate the info. . .i'll get the holes cut and go from there. . .and i need to check my packs to see if they are getting the full. 7.2 volts they should be. . .thanx for the quick reply

did you check your settings in the esc .light is red.turn on hold button change color blink once let go my stampede does this

i checked the voltage and on a full charge it was only like 5.5 volts or something like that, i called traxxas and told them about what was going on and they told me that they had a bad lot of them so they sent me a new battery

cool man....my original 1200 traxxas batteries seemed to go downhill real fast..so maybe i'll check mine again....

hey they sent me a new battery and if you got a battery from the same lot i would imagine that they would send you one too

to be honest i don't care too much..i have 4 LiPo's that keep me running for a long time..the NiMh batteries i have are just an afterthought now in case i go out and run for like 2 hours straight :)

i like the lipos in mine i think most rc drivers are use to nitro and 75% of the time can just punch it it does take some gettin use to

I just purchased the mini e revo brushless and 2 lipo batteries and i was wondering what is the top speed going to be????? Approx?
If you got 2 2s lipos and wire them in series, it will go about 60 miles per hour with stock wheels and spur gear with a 23 tooth pinion. With one 3s it will go about 45 miles per hour with the same stuff. With one 2s you can run it on a 28 tooth pinion and make it go about 35 mile per hour.
