@rollingrock The Traxxas Summit is a very cool truck. Traxxas has a useful differential removal guide on their Summit page. You can also download the Summit user manual here or probably even RCDocuments.com. The Traxxas Summit differential parts list looks like the following:

5182 - Ball bearings, blue rubber sealed (20x27x4mm) (2)
5117 - Ball bearings, blue rubber sealed (6x12x4mm) (2)
5118 - Ball bearings, blue rubber sealed (8x16x5mm) (2)
5681 - Carrier, differential (heavy duty)/ differential fork/ linkage arms (front & rear)/x-ring gaskets (2)/ ring gear gasket/ bushings (2)/ 6.5x10x0.5 TW
5697 - Differential controller, T-Lock electronic (for use with AM radio systems)
5653 - Differential CV output drive (machined steel) (1)/ screw pin (with threadlock) (1)/ cross pin (1)/ drive pin (1)
5136X - Differential oil kit (1 each: 10K, 30K, 50K weights)
5382X - Gear set, differential (output gears (2)/ spider gears (2)/ spider gear shaft/ diff carrier support)
5678 - Gear, locking differential output/ differential slider/ 3x12mm screwpin
5680 - Housing, differential (front & rear)
5679 - Linkage, locking differential (includes ball cup, linkage wires)/ bellcrank/ bellcrank mount/ 3x10mm SS
5379X - Ring gear, differential/ pinion gear, differential

I agree @rollingrock, the Summit is a pretty cool rig. I had an absolute blast with my Summit this summer.
I ran it through a river, over river rocks, climbed some steep hills, ran it through brush, jumped some ramps...great fun

Lipos are always a great upgrade. Another upgrade you might consider is a set of Proline Trencher X tires. The stock tires are a bit mushy and will limit your performance.

One upgrade you should definitely check into is a set of T Bone Racing skid plates.
